Face Shapes.
Finding your perfect sunglasses can often be challenging. With so many variables, such as your face shape, size, hair colour and style, the objective is to find the pair that will complement your facial features.
The four main face shapes are Oval, Heart, Round or Square. All other face shapes are generally a combination of these four. When choosing your frames, it is best to select the most dominant face shape. These sunglasses will best complement your face shape. |
The four main face shapes:
Oval Features: Cheekbones are the widest point of the face Rounded forehead and jaw Longer in length & shorter in width Recommendation: This is a common face shape that suits most styles! Try to keep the sunglasses from being wider than your face. We would recommend checking out the Ada, Marie or the Marilyn. |
Heart Features: Forehead is the widest point the face Narrow and pointed jawline Sharp defined lines Recommendation: This face shape is similar to an oval face but with sharper, more defined lines. Try to find sunglasses that soften and compliment your angles. Aviators are a perfect example of this! We would recommend the Amelia in three different colours OR if aviators aren't your thing, check out the beautiful Rosa or Stella. |
Round Features: Cheekbones are typically the widest point of the face Soft angles Short in width & length Recommendation: This face shape has very soft angles and lines! Aim for more square and rectangular sunglasses to help provide definition and contrast in the face. We would recommend our new oversized squared frames, the Helena and Shirley, OR alternatively the stunning Frida. |
Square Features: Similar width through the jaw, cheekbones and forehead. Defined Jawline & forehead Same in width & length Recommendation: This face shape is similar to a round face but with sharper, more defined lines. Try using rounder, softer frames that are proportionate to the face & help balance your sharp defined lines. Round, Rounded rectangular or blunt cat eyes are perfect for this! We would recommend the Blake, Grace or Sonja. |
